mini french bread board giveaway!

As a food photographer, I’m constantly looking for not only beautiful food to photograph but also props to showcase my latest finds in all their lovely goodness. I’m particularly fond of hand-made items and most recently came across etsy.com. Holy moly – oodles and oodles of handmade goodness and I don’t even have to leave my home!

About a month ago, I found a shop, vintage home designs featuring hand made sets of french mini-bread boards. They are the perfect size for food photography and each one is individually crafted by hand. Even better is the story behind the making of the boards… tissues please!  But the thing is they sell out fast… and each Monday I would check Diana’s shop to see if any new boards were available. Finally a few weeks ago I lucked out and went a little shopping happy! I not only purchased a lovely set for myself but also an extra set to give away as a way of thanking my dear family, friends and readers for all your support and luv shown to me over these past few months.

I would almost hate to cut anything on them because they are so pretty. I would probably display them in my kitchen and use them when serving bread.

These are so cute! I would feel rather fancy cutting up my bread and cheese to go with wine or my vegetables for my mother’s secret salsa recipe on these. They are so cute and country\rustic looking (the look I really want for my kitchen) that I could hang them up on the wall for display and be proud :)
